Want to be the King of All Cosmos, commanding a tiny green guy to do your bidding? Well, now you can thanks to this cool Katamari Damacy overlay.
It’s been tweeted out by Keita Takahashi, creator of the Katamari Damacy series and can also be downloaded here. It’s a transparent PNG, which Takahashi has invited people to photoshop onto existing snapshots.
So far we’ve gone with Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil movies, who should have been the franchise’s big bad but who was sidelined in favour of Ser Jorah Friendzone from Game of Thrones.
We’ve also given Kratos from God of War the same treatment and the next step is to turn Atreus into the Prince of All Cosmos. The Prince is, in the Katamari Damacy games, mute, so maybe that’ll stop him from giving away the solution to puzzles.
Does this mean there’s a new Katamari Damacy game on the way? Probably not. As fantastic as We Love Katamari Royal Reverie is, it’s still a remaster of existing content. And Takahashi hasn’t worked on the Katamari series in a while.

The good news is that he and his studio Uvula are working on the weirdly wholesome to a T. And while there’s no release date as yet, it could be worth wishlisting this one. In the meantime, you can download the PNG here and don’t forget to share your efforts.
