Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Are Crossing Over into Street Fighter 6

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Street Fighter 6 crossover

Cowabunga! Street Fighter 6 is getting a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover, bringing the two worlds together as one from 8th August.

Okay, before you get too excited, let’s temper your expectations. Michaelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo aren’t going to be new playable characters in Street Fighter 6. But you can change your World Tour and Battle Hub custom avatar into your favourite turtle. Alongside, you’ll be able to style your avatar with new Turtles-themed gear, apply new titles and customise your in-game mobile wallpaper with something TMNT themed. Radical?

Yes, it’s a bit of a marketing stunt for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie, which landed in cinemas this week. But do we really care? Nah, it’s turtles, dude! It’s a bit of fun, and it marks the second branded partnership to land in Street Fighter 6 since it launched back in June (the first being a collaboration with Onitsuka Tiger).

Log on to Street Fighter 6 from tomorrow, 8th August, and you’ll find that your Battle Hub can also be decked out with various Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stuff too, with themed banners and signage. You can get a glimpse of it in the trailer below, or wait until tomorrow to see for yourself when the crossover goes live.

Editor in chief // Kim's been into video games since playing Dizzy on her brother's Commodore 64 as a wee nipper. She'll give just about anything a go, but she's got a soft spot for story-driven adventures and open world escapades. If she's not gaming, she's probably cooing over pictures of baby animals or watching re-runs of Friends for the 137th time.
