Tonight, we’ve had the pleasure of watching THQ Nordic’s 2023 Digital Showcase, and it’s been filled with lots of great announcements.
If you’ve missed it, don’t worry. We’ve rounded up all of the announcements below for you to watch up on. From brand new games to a fresh look at previously announced titles, there’s a lot to be excited about here. A new South Park game! A great new trailer for Outcast – A New Beginning! A TMNT game!

Alone in the Dark
We’re already very much looking forward to playing Alone in the Dark later this year, and a new trailer only cements that further. There’s a free prologue available to play on PC and consoles, too, so don’t miss that.
South Park: Snow Day!
We’re getting a brand new South Park game! Snow Day is a co-op experience for up to four players that sees Cartman, Kenny, Kyle and Stan enjoy a snow day in South Park – while also trying to save the world. The trailer doesn’t give much away, but it looks heavily combat focused – and it’s in 3D. It’s set to release in 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC.
Outcast – A New Beginning
There’s no release date for Outcast – A New Beginning yet, but it’s looking absolutely fantastic. While it carries on from where the 1999 classic left off, it’s also completely accessible to newcomers, making this one to watch for any fan of open world adventure games. Wreckreaction
We’re very much looking forward to Wreckreaction, a car racing game with a difference. Make your own tracks, create absolute carnage as you drive, and turn a race into something quite spectacular. While the crashing and racing appeals most to us, players who like to get creative are sure to have fun designing their own tracks.
Titan Quest II
Titan Quest II is in development, set to release on PC “when the time comes”. In other words, there’s not even a loose release date yet so it’s unlikely to arrive before 2025. For fans of ARPGs, though, this is one to watch.
Last Train Home
Shown off during Summer Games Fest, here’s another look at Last Train Home, an epic survival strategy game inspired by real events during the war. It’s releasing on PC later this year.
Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy
The Trine games are popular with anyone who enjoys co-op puzzles. They’re also known for looking absolutely beautiful, and the latest in the series, Trine 5, looks to be no different. It’s coming very soon: it’ll be releasing on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC on 31st August – and pre-orders are open now.
Space for Sale
Like the idea of selling real estate in space? In that case, you might want to check out Space for Sale, currently in development. As an intergalactic property developer, it’s up to you to get properties just right for your clients and ensure the planets you’re selling on are habitable. It looks like a lot of fun, and something quite different for the management sim space. There’s no release date just yet, but you can sign up to the beta by clicking here.
Way of the Hunter – The Tikamoon Plains DLC
There’s brand new DLC for Way of the Hunter available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It takes players to the uncharted landscapes of Tikamoon, with new animal species to track – along with new weapons and additional difficulty options. Buy the base game, and find out more information here.
Tempest Rising
Available on Steam from today, Tempest Rising is a classic real-time strategy game set on Earth in the aftermath of a nuclear war. If deep RTS games are your thing, this is one worth jumping into.
Gothic Remake
There’s a remake of Gothic in production, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The cinematic trailer doesn’t give a whole lot away, but it’s looking sublime, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of it in action. For now, more information is available on its official store page.
TMNT: The Last Ronin
A brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game? Yes, a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game! TMNT: The Last Ronin is based on the comic book of the same name, although the very short teaser doesn’t give a great deal away. We’re looking forward to seeing more.
