A New South Park Game is Coming in 2024

South Park: Snow Day

Revealed during tonight’s THQ Nordic Showcase was a brand new South Park game. South Park: Snow Day! is coming to PC and consoles in 2024.

We don’t know a great deal about South Park: Snow Day! just yet, except that, well, it’s set on a snow day. You know, the joyous day of the year where there’s just too much white stuff on the ground to go to school.

It’s being developed by South Park Digital Studios and Question Games, and published by THQ Nordic, and it’s described as a “4-player co-op game”. Of course, it’ll feature Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny. Whether you’ll be playing as one of them or creating a new character remains to be seen.

Unlike The Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole, however, Snow Day will be in 3D, so it won’t directly ape the art style of the TV series. According to the press release, the game will see you and up to three friends “battle your way through the snow-piled streets of South Park on a quest to save the world and enjoy a day without school”. We’re certainly intrigued to learn more.

Give the teaser trailer a watch below:

We’ll be looking out for more information dropping on South Park: Snow Day over the next few months. It’s set to release at some point in 2024 and it’s coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC.
