These Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bebop Villains Are Coming to Knockout City

Knockout City Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Villains

Who needs the heroes in a half-shell? Knockout City is adding Bebop and Rocksteady, villains from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.

Sure, they’ve appeared in other media but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon was our introduction to these hilariously incompetent pair. So we’re happy to hear they’re coming to Knockout City, Velan Studios’ futuristic volleyball game.

The turtles themselves were added back in August, along with a handful of other non-TMNT mutant characters. Now, the villains pack will see you playing as Bebop, Rocksteady or, should you so choose, a Foot Clan soldier. Could it be time to steamroller the opposition?

Not exactly – as cool as these skins are, they’re cosmetic and, as much as we love the bumbling twosome, we’re fine with that. Given that you have to purchase these costumes, making them as strong as their show counterparts would risk making the game pay to win.

However, there is also a new game mode coming, Foot Clan Clash. In two teams of two, you take on wave after wave of Foot Soldiers. The more soldiers you hit, the more points you rack up. You won’t get points for hitting your human opponents but knocking them out will, briefly, stop you from sharing your Foot “kills”.

The Knockout City Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Villains Pack will launch this January 10th, priced at $19.99. It’ll require the full game but, despite launching as a paid game, Knockout City has since become free-to-play. You can download it on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
