Baldur’s Gate 3 is very nearly here – at least if you’re a PC gamer, anyway.
While Baldur’s Gate 3 launches in September on PS5 and possibly in 2024 on Xbox, PC gamers can jump in either this Thursday or Friday depending on where in the world they are. Well, maybe, providing their internet is up to scratch. At over 100GB, Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the biggest games to date, and it’s not possible to predownload it.
So, when does Baldur’s Gate 3 launch on PC in your region? Basically, it launches 8AM PST, 11AM EST and 4PM BST on 3rd August. That means if you live in Australia or New Zealand, it launches in the early hours of Friday Morning, on 4th August, at 1AM and 3AM respectively. With preloading not being an option, you’ll be wanting to set Baldur’s Gate 3 downloading as soon as it launches if you want to start playing as quickly as possible. You might want to set an alarm, then, and make sure you have the required storage space available. And don’t waste your time downloading the early access version: it appears that you’ll still have to redownload most of the game anyway.
